AAPA’s Cargo Optimization program featured two concurrent tracks addressing both container and non-container issues pertinent to today’s ports. The Community Relations and Port Diversification track assessed diversification strategies that create more dependable and sustainable income streams.

2015 Maritime Economic Development Energy Projects Seminar
This program examined the benefits and drawbacks to ports of handling various types of energy commodities as both a fuel and as a cargo, discussed new and emerging technologies related to handling energy, and revealed opportunities for collaboration and cooperation that can widen the possibilities and reduce the financial risks for investing in different energy-handling systems.
