Port of Los Angeles – “Cyber Security Operations Center”
The Port of Los Angeles (Port of LA), the busiest container port in the United States, took significant steps towards reducing the risks posed by a potential cyber attack with the implementation of its Cyber Security Operations Center (CSOC). The state-of-the-art CSOC includes advanced hardware and software that is used to proactively monitor the computer environment to prevent breaches and quickly detect and respond if a breach does occur. In addition to addressing immediate IT security issues, the CSOC also provides the necessary foundation for the Port of LA to securely capitalize on future opportunities and trends.
